Hello,
I apologize in advance that I do not speak French. I'm also aware that I'm responding about two years after the initial posts in this thread. Hopefully, somebody may still find this and be able to assist.
I was doing a search on Google and discovered this thread. I'm a descendent of Rosa May Boyer. She is my great grandmother and I've recently begun researching her ancestors. From the little that I've been able to translate here, it seems that a possible baptismal record for her has been found along with a possible birth record for her father. I have found two birth records for Rosa May Boyer, the marriage record for her mother and father (Albert Boyer and Gertie Bella Flanders), along with the 1900 census where Albert and Rosa were living with Gertie's parents after Gertie passed away on 20 August 1899. These records are:

It states that Albert Boyer (I believe Boya is representative of how Boyer is correctly pronounced) was born in April 1878 in Olton, Canada in most of the records with Alton, New York recorded in the other instances. Can anyone tell me if this is consistent with the two records noted above in this thread? I have been unable to locate an Olton, Canada (the closest I've found is Bolton or Alton, both in Ontario). Does anyone know of such a place, or know of where they may be referring to (Alton, New York seems to be incorrect as the 1900 census shows his immigration to the US in 1892)? Also, the records I've located seem to have his mother's name as Mary rather than Vitaline, so this may be a different Albert entirely.
Any assistance in sorting this out, or translating the two records previously noted in this thread, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Dan
